What’s in a name?  Poppy Photography By Marissa was established in July 2010 with

my incredible sister, Nina's help and the name is in loving memory of my beloved Father,

John Joyce, adorably nicknamed “Poppy”.



What makes me different you ask?  Photography is not a job for me – it’s a passion.

​

You cannot be good at something unless you truly love it and that, most simply stated,

is how I capture those once in a lifetime moments you only have that one chance at capturing.



I am an on location photographer which means I come to you! My travels take me anywhere

my clients need me to be and everywhere in between!  Photography has been a whirlwind of

adventure and excitement!
